Finally, the donut post has arrived, a whole day later.

Shot By Sydney Keiser.

I followed a recipe for the donuts because I’m not good enough with baking to wing it. Yet.

However, I used knowledge from multiple recipes to come up with my own easy peasy, delicious, chocolate glaze recipe. Yes, I will gladly share that piece of information with you 🙂

Sydney’s Chocolate Glaze Recipe 🙂

Ingredients:

~ 3 cups of powdered sugar

~ 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

~ 4 tablespoons of hot water (or as much as needed)

~ As much cocoa powder as needed

Directions:

NOTE: you may increase or decrease the amount of glaze for as much as you need, but I’ll let you do the math 😉

  1. dump your 3 cups of powdered sugar into a large bowl. SLOWLY add in hot water, pour the water in a bits, not all at once. Whisk this together until it becomes smooth and thick.
  2. add in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Whisk.
  3. Add in cocoa powder in small bits at a time. (If you want a lighter chocolate taste, don’t add as much. If a richer taste is desired, add more). Whisk this together until cocoa powder is dissolved.
  4. Lastly, ENJOY!!!

These donuts are delicious for all occasions! They are chocolate on chocolate because I take a liking to richer tastes. There are lots of awesome chocolate donut recipes if you ever feel like making these, but be sure to try out my glaze recipe 😉

Okay, well I hope everyone has a lovely day or evening!
