Fun fact about me, I hate the beach.

Now, I don’t hate the look of the beach, I just have a thorough dislike for actually being at the beach.

The sand gets everywhere and stuck to you, the water is hard to swim in, it’s hot, there are people, and there’s not much to do when you go with parents that like to sit a do nothing, or as they put it, “relax.”

Sorry I haven’t written this week, I unfortunately came down with the flu.

At least I didn’t have to do school 🤷‍♀️

I’m still a bit sick, I just have a cough and am a bit congested. I’ve got those weird snot bubbles when I breath!

Taking a road trip with Ginger is always entertaining.

She likes to sniff the air, look terrified, sleep, crawl onto my lap thinking she’s a lap dog although I’ve told her countless times she is not–

But, I always get to snap some good pictures of her.

Throwback to a year ago 🥺

Gingy was still a big girl but also still so puppy – though I still call and consider her a baby now (a big baby for that matter).

Where does time go?

To all the lovely people that get mad at me when I make a sarcastic comeback, here’s the words I live by:

“If you don’t want a sarcastic answer, don’t ask a stupid question”

In honor of my old favorite number, 7, today is promotion day, since it’s the 7th.

And since my mom has been kind enough to promote my blog on hers (thanks, Mom).

My mom is an amazing writer, one of the best I know. She should seriously write a book. About what? I’m not sure, whatever she wants I suppose.

In my 13 years, I’ve learned the most about people more than anything.

Conclusion: they suck.

Not all the time, but people suck.

Sometimes for stupid reasons.

My friend and I have the best conversations.

Sometimes they’re sentimental, sometimes they’re about Disney+ telling us we can watch The Maze Runner on there (spoiler alert, you can’t 🙄), and sometimes its just literal jibberish.

And on a rare occasion, I’ll send her a nonsense message, to which she plays along and continues the nonsense with me.

Throwback to the other day when I got violently stabbed 3 times, then proceeded to have The Dread Doctors put headphones on me and make me look at letters.

Aka: I got 3 shots and got my hearing and vision tested by a nurse.

The first description is just more interesting.

A couple weeks ago we went to Gatlinburg for one of my volleyball tournaments.

I love Gatlinburg, we went there a couple times when I was a baby, that of which I don’t really remember other than getting cookies-and-cream ice cream at Baskin Robins.

But we went there last year in May, I have to say it wasn’t the best trip. But I learned a lot about myself and about others, so while it hurt for a while, it was a good learning experience.
