Fun fact about me, I hate the beach.

Now, I don’t hate the look of the beach, I just have a thorough dislike for actually being at the beach.

The sand gets everywhere and stuck to you, the water is hard to swim in, it’s hot, there are people, and there’s not much to do when you go with parents that like to sit a do nothing, or as they put it, “relax.”

And since my mom has been kind enough to promote my blog on hers (thanks, Mom).

My mom is an amazing writer, one of the best I know. She should seriously write a book. About what? I’m not sure, whatever she wants I suppose.

My friend and I have the best conversations.

Sometimes they’re sentimental, sometimes they’re about Disney+ telling us we can watch The Maze Runner on there (spoiler alert, you can’t 🙄), and sometimes its just literal jibberish.

And on a rare occasion, I’ll send her a nonsense message, to which she plays along and continues the nonsense with me.

Throwback to the other day when I got violently stabbed 3 times, then proceeded to have The Dread Doctors put headphones on me and make me look at letters.

Aka: I got 3 shots and got my hearing and vision tested by a nurse.

A couple weeks ago we went to Gatlinburg for one of my volleyball tournaments.

I love Gatlinburg, we went there a couple times when I was a baby, that of which I don’t really remember other than getting cookies-and-cream ice cream at Baskin Robins.

But we went there last year in May, I have to say it wasn’t the best trip. But I learned a lot about myself and about others, so while it hurt for a while, it was a good learning experience.
